Qing Cai (Chinese)

Qing Cai is an associate professor in the College of Computer Science and Technology of Ocean University of China. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Automation, Northwestern Polytechnical University, in 2016 and 2019, respectively, advised by Prof. Huiying Liu. From Oct. 2017 to Apr. 2018, he was a Visiting Ph.D. Student in the Department of Computing Science at University of Alberta, advised by Prof. Yee-Hong Yang. From May 2018 to Dec. 2018, he was a visiting researcher with the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at Xi'an Jiaotong University worked with Prof. Jinjun Wang. From Oct. 2020 to Sep. 2022, he was a postdoc researcher with The Chinese University of Hong Kong at Shenzhen worked with Prof. David Zhang , and also with the University of Science and Technology of China worked with Prof. Feng Wu. From Oct. 2022, he joined in Ocean University of China worked with Prof. Junyu Dong. His research interests include computer vision, deep learning, machine learning, level set method, image segmentation, target tracking, image restoration, image super-resolution, image denoising, medical image processing and underwater image processing.
